Dr. Jan Vermeylen, founder of the Plastic Surgery Company, has been working as a plastic and reconstructive surgeon for more then 18 years.
Dr. Vermeylen has worked as the director of Clinica D’Oro, a private clinic in Turnhout, Belgium, as well as head of the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery department at St. Elisabeth Hospital, an official government hospital also in Turnhout. He also worked at the University Hospital in Antwerp, Belgium.
Dr. Vermeylen received formal training in Plastic and Reconstructive surgery at hospitals in both Belgium and the UK, including 2 years of training at the world famous Odstock Hospital. He has also published several articles internationally about cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.
During his eighteen years as a plastic surgeon, Dr Vermeylen has performed over 15,000 cosmetic operations. He specializes in “short scar” operations such as short scar facelift, breast lift and more, which help speed up recovery times and minimize downtime.
